Yes, we accept registrations from members all over the world.

Yes, we accept registrations from graduates of overseas training schools as long as they fulfil our minimum qualification requirements.

Our minimum qualification requirements are as follows:

  • To register as a YTT Yoga Teacher you need to be able to prove that you have received a minimum of 200 hours of training.
  • To register as a YTT Yoga Elder you need to have taught a minimum of 5000 hours of yoga over a minimum of 10 years.
  • To register as a YTT Yoga School you need to have first registered as a YTT Yoga Elder and have a 200-1000 hour course already designed. 75% of these hours need to be contact hours. You will need to provide us with the following documents: i. Course plan for contact & non-contact hours. ii. Your course prospectus. iii. Your teaching and learning agreement. iv. A description of your complaints procedure. v. A description of how your assessment procedures ensure your trainees’ future teaching is based on their own practice, ahimsa, satya & svadhyaya. vi. Example course certificate. vii. Your listing for the YTT website (200-500 words).
